As a reward for our great work Chris made us a present – a wii! This brings some variety to the usual game of foos after lunch (and in the coffee break and before leaving the office…).

Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea giving us our new toy and then going on holiday for three weeks – productivity slightly decreased in that time. But hey – wouldn’t it have been impolite to receive a present and not use it?

Me and the other girls also had a lot of fun in designing Miis for some of the developers.

New colleagues coming! And bringing beer and burgers with them! I can already smell the fire of the barbecue from the garden behind the office. That reminds me of a software license I recently stumbled upon: beerware. This license provides the user with the usual open source rights (use the software, do anything with the code). However, if the user meets the author one day, he should buy him beer in return (or, in some variations, drink a beer in the author’s honor). Eventually I have an answer to the question “What is your favorite kind of license?” if Vanity Fair is doing an interview with me.
